Banquet Server - Seasonal

Department: SPG - F&B FOH
Location: Sun Peaks, BC

This position is perfect for a dedicated individual with excellent organizational skills, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and strong interpersonal abilities, who has several years of experience in banquet settings and is prepared to lead a team to deliver remarkable experiences to our guests, both on a large and small scale. Compensation Information:

$16.75 per hour plus gratuities

Physical Requirement:
Medium: Work activities involve handling loads between 10 and 20 kg; Predominately indoor setting

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating the delivery of all Food and Beverages for functions held in the Hotel and all details about functions being held in all banquet and meeting rooms while providing an exceptional banquet experience from start to finish
  • Deliver an elevated experience for our guests within our Banquet department
  • Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration

Ideal candidate:

  • 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Serving it Right Certification
  • Excellent food and wine knowledge
  • Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to motivate and support employees
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50lbs
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
