Imagine arriving to work at a stunning slope-side hotel after a round of golf or some laps in the bike park. The Shipper Receiver is a vital member of our hotel team. They are detail-oriented and able to work alone or in a group. They are responsible for the storeroom’s inventory and all incoming and outgoing documentation. They will be shipping and receiving all hotel goods promptly. The shipper receiver will also make weekly trips to Kamloops and work with the Resort shipper receiver to coordinate town trips, share resources and work collaboratively as a team when needed. Heavy: Work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg; Predominately indoor & outdoor settings

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Accountabilities:

• Receive all hotel (Food and Beverage, Maintenance, and Housekeeping) supply deliveries according to receiving policy
• Receiving Food and Beverage supplier deliveries according to our rigorous receiving policy (FIFO, checking expiry dates, food danger zone, etc.)
• Complete all necessary documentation as per purchasing and receiving policy
• Arrive early to meet delivery trucks – schedule according to operational needs
• Transfer goods to ordering outlets and/or departments
• Weekly pickups from Kamloops for goods ordered
• Properly checking off and accounting for every item delivered or picked up
• Taking recyclables to the Sun Peaks Transfer Station
• Taking items to the Heffley Dump for disposal
• Handle Canada Post delivery
• Ensure that the loading bay is organized and clean
• Coordinate picks ups for used oil, recycling, garbage and cardboard with external companies

Ideal Candidate:

• Good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs. (23kg)
• Have a valid BC Driver’s license and submit a driver’s abstract upon acceptance of the job
• Hold current Food Safe certificate
• Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Intermediate computer skills using MS Excel and Word
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration
• Good written and verbal skills
• Bondable
